Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026. This page describes how the current ToolsNest website handles information. It covers the version of ToolsNest available at gettoolsnest.online.

Files and local processing

ToolsNest is a collection of browser-based file utilities and editing tools. For most operations, your selected images, PDFs, and videos are processed in your web browser rather than uploaded to a ToolsNest application server. This includes browser-side editing, previews, and exports. Some operations require JavaScript processing libraries downloaded from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs). Those providers receive ordinary network-request information when your browser retrieves the library. Some third-party processing components may load additional supporting resources. Do not use any online tool with highly confidential material unless you have independently checked its data handling.

Saved drafts and browser storage

Photo Studio, Video Studio and other ToolsNest tools may use browser storage, including IndexedDB and local storage, to remember projects, form values, media files or settings. Drafts can contain copies of the files you selected, plus your text and editing history. These drafts are not automatically synchronized to another device. They may disappear if you delete website data, switch domains, use a private browsing session or exceed the browser's storage limit. You can clear data through browser settings; save separate downloads of important work. Do not leave private drafts in a shared browser profile.

Hosting and third-party requests

The website is hosted on Netlify, which may process network and access information, such as IP addresses, browser details and technical logs, to deliver and secure the pages. Some PDF and OCR features download libraries from CDNs such as jsDelivr or unpkg. You can review Netlify's privacy information and the linked service providers' policies for more detail.

Contact messages

If the contact form is enabled, the name, email address, subject and message that you submit are sent to Netlify Forms and become available to the ToolsNest site operator to handle your inquiry. Do not submit passwords, sensitive personal data or confidential files. The form's availability depends on Netlify configuration. Contact-form messages are separate from editing drafts.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

ToolsNest includes a Google AdSense script in its pages for publisher site verification and review. This does not mean Google has approved ToolsNest to show advertisements; ads will only be eligible to serve after AdSense approval. When this script loads, your browser contacts Google and Google may receive network and device information, such as your IP address and browser details. Google's use of cookies, identifiers and personal data depends on its services, your location, consent choices and applicable law.

If advertising is approved and enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or device identifiers to deliver and measure advertisements, including personalized ads when permitted. For information about Google's use of data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and Google's Privacy Policy. You can manage relevant advertising preferences using My Ad Center.

The site operator must configure any legally required consent notices and a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) before serving advertising to visitors in regions where Google requires this, including the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Until this is configured, ToolsNest should not claim that it has implemented an advertising consent interface.

Privacy choices and requests

To remove saved projects, clear this site's browser storage using your browser settings. To ask about data you deliberately sent through the contact form, use the contact page. Website operators should review and update this policy when new hosting, analytics, advertising or processing integrations are added.
